Queensborough Community College (QCC) Nursing 2023 program

Hey guys, Im posting to see if anyone else is applying to the nursing program (evening session) 2023 applications open in aprox 12 days and im nervous!! wanted to read some of the GPAs and Pax scores I'm up against and if we can help each other with advice! :)) LMKKKKKK!

I just did my interview today and I don't think you will hear back unless it's a acceptance or rejection from the program. The interview I think is to get to know the student better and see how they presented themselves to the person interviewing us. But they do decide like with like to redo the interview or not or to wait prob on how u presented urself 

So the second interview is like second chance?

The waiting is torment. Trying to fill my schedule with work, but as soon as shift done I become worrisome again 

Anyone know more or less how much students spend on average the first term?

I applied for day student. Based on the prospective nursing page I don't think our fees, books, uniform, and supply will exceed 1,000 first term. If only taking NU101 (6.5 credits) then almost 1400 in tuition (add an additional 100 for school fees. I'm hoping it doesn't exceed 2500. We got 3 months to hustle ?

Is the uniform same from prior term?

Gagandeep Kaur I think you have a good chance of acceptance because to go from low GPA to above 3.0 and good pax score shows your resilient

I hope so. I've went thru so many classes and ended up getting an associates in health science so hopefully I have a good chance. Did you have an interview as well?

I felt I did fair, but its hard to tell because professor did not mark rubric while students answered so who knows
