Members are discussing their experiences and tips for getting into a nursing program. They emphasize the importance of good communication skills, patient advocacy, and sociability during interviews, rather than just focusing on grades and test scores. They also share information about the program schedule, group chats, and their individual academic backgrounds.
The application for 2025 fall term is starting in March, but I just want to have some discussions with you guys. Feel free to share your stats, like what you got on each pre-clinical course. I'll share mine first

She only asked us 1 question and then it was our turn to ask her questions about the program.

Hi, did you dressed very professionally or just casual?
Evelyn Jiang said:There were seven students during the interview and we shared our experience and story with others and the professor will ask each one of us what did you know about this student and other question randomly pick from the list. Not much questions. Overall was good
Thank you for sharing this!
Rob H. said:Are you asking the total applicants for fall? The professor who did my interview said they picked 120 from those who applied(not everyone was qualified), will interview them and then just pick 100 students for fall2025
Thank you for sharing these stats. I feel this makes everyone feel a lot more reassured and confident for our interviews
I don't know if they are doing more interviews next week. However, for our interview, we were asked a few more questions. I think there are two structures for the interview. One is to test your relational/interpersonal/listening skills by saying what you learned from peers (from what I saw in this and past threads). The other structure is asking a few rounds of questions directly to your group which is what I got. No out-of-the-ordinary questions or clinical/knowledge-based questions were asked. So if anyone hasn't done theirs, just remember to be respectful, warm, and authentic to who you are, and also relax!
Good luck to everyone!
