  1. Thank you! Good luck to you as well. We'll all get there!
  2. Sorry to hear from the folks that didn't get in, especially the working adults with good stats here like Rob and Kevin. I would recommend politely inquiring with the department (they must be swamped with emails/paperwork now) and possibly asking for the contact with the professor who interviewed you. Try asking how you can supplement your future application (I.e., recommendation letter, personal statement, resume, volunteer/medical experience) and, most importantly, your interview performance, and interview tips for the future. There may be students who got accepted for multiple programs, failed microbio, or want to start another semester. I would assume there will be opportunities if a seat becomes available. If not, you do want to show the will to grow and remain a strong applicant for the next cycle. Keep other options open, but never give up when we are so close.
  3. yes you must acknowledge receipt of the email within 48 hours
  4. OMG I got into the night program! Congratulations, everyone!
  5. I don't know if they are doing more interviews next week. However, for our interview, we were asked a few more questions. I think there are two structures for the interview. One is to test your relational/interpersonal/listening skills by saying what you learned from peers (from what I saw in this and past threads). The other structure is asking a few rounds of questions directly to your group which is what I got. No out-of-the-ordinary questions or clinical/knowledge-based questions were asked. So if anyone hasn't done theirs, just remember to be respectful, warm, and authentic to who you are, and also relax! Good luck to everyone!
  6. Thank you for sharing this! Thank you for sharing these stats. I feel this makes everyone feel a lot more reassured and confident for our interviews
  7. Thank you! You have really good stats and you'll be fine. Reading the thread last year it took them a long time for everyone to get their interview and no one figured out why some got it earlier than others Same week as you but on Friday. Good luck!
  8. Good luck! I applied a day after you and got the interview email today
  9. could be a possibility I applied onthe 18th and haven't heard from them
  10. In the past threads, they said the department prefers candidates that already finished BI 311. I think this is strong and you have a good chance
  11. wow we are the exact opposite! fingers crossed ?
  12. Hi all, sharing my stats here: ENG 1: A- PSY 1: A Statistics: C A&P 1: A GPA for these 13 credits: 3.469. I'm currently taking A&P 2 and enrolled in Microbiology for the Summer. I got a 295 NEX score at 99 percentile. My GPA is low so really worried about my application. Did anyone receive interview notices? I was reading the past threads and seems like they send them out pretty quickly after the application closes.
