So I was cruising through some earlier posts for this program and it looks like it varies. I am sitting at a 3.56 pre-req w/out my nutrition and developmental psych which are in progress (i think, if I did my calcs right) I am hoping that my experience in healthcare and my personal statement will show that I really want this ?
Hi, I also applied and just got confirmation today that they have received all of my transcripts! Now it's just a waiting game ? I'm a career changer, 3.8 prereq GPA with everything completed. I recall that the GPA was last 30 hours or 3 semesters, which I took to mean it would include any prereqs taken after the first degree was awarded. I never asked for clarification though!
It's been hard to find much info on people's experience in this program but I have had good interactions with the admissions staff so far! Good luck to everyone - we don't have long to wait!!!
I’ve recently applied. GPA is currently a 3.43 without human anatomy and physiology ll, which I’m in the process of taking. I’m extremely nervous because I’ve heard of people with strong GPA’s get waitlisted or denied but I’m trying to keep the faith! Admissions said we should hear something by the end of February. Good luck to everyone!

- I was reading thru last year's class post and it seems that the GPA varies from the few that posted. I would assume that it means that they look at everything holistically. So they take into account academics, personal statement etc. This month will fly by tho! Did anyone ask to be considered for the two-year program? I did, but I really really really want to go the ABSN route if at all possible.
I am set on the ABSN route as well, so I said no on that question.

Yeah I said no as well. They also told me that they really only look at the pre req GPA and the last 30 hours.. they don't really take too much else into consideration.

Hi, I have not been able to find a thread for Queens University ABSN program starting in the summer of 2020. I am wondering if others have applied/what their background is and if those who were in the program, how their experience was. Thank you and good luck.
