Queens University of Charlotte ABSN, Summer 2020

Hi, I have not been able to find a thread for Queens University ABSN program starting in the summer of 2020. I am wondering if others have applied/what their background is and if those who were in the program, how their experience was. Thank you and good luck.

I called today because I also thought we'd hear by today and one person said the committee is meeting next week.. I don't know how accurate that is but I really really wanted to know by this week.. I also emailed Megan and she said the "you'll know 6 weeks from time application was due"

Ugh!!

Well.....damn lol I mean it is possible that we won't hear this week. Im trying to keep myself busy so that I won't be so focused on waiting to hear. Im starting to look at other program options just in case too.

So what you guys think? I'm thinking by Wednesday we will hear something...I know that I am going crazy waiting lol

I’m thinking that we’ll hear by Wednesday too! We’re already hearing a week later than years past and the BSN applications are due March 1st, so I figure they’ll allow us time before then if we’re denied/waitlisted from the ABSN to put our names in for the general track.

Did you select to be considered for the two year? I did just to give myself other options

Yeah I think by Friday at the absolute latest they'll let us know. But who knows maybe today if we are lucky!

Hello, I'm a little late to the conversation. I am also nervously awaiting a response. I've been looking into scholarships but I am waiting to apply until I receive my acceptance notice. I'm claiming my acceptance. I did not select to be placed in the BSN program. I chose this program because of it being an ABSN and the fact that it is 3 semesters. My family is fired up and ready for me to become a Nurse.

Same. All I received was an email about the curriculum yesterday.

I called yesterday to verify when we would find out because the curriculum email said we would find out by Mid-March, but my advisor said it will be this week sometime just as the portal says by end of Feb.
