Hi! I just applied to the QCC Nursing program for fall 2021. I was wondering if anyone else applied or gotten their interview date yet?

Hello

I am applying for the QCC nursing program in fall 2022. I have a 3.15 GPA and 88 percentile for the pax exam. How likely is it that I’m going to get accepted?

Hey! I would still apply! You never know. The only cost was your PAX exam that you already took. I started a thread for Fall 2022

My pax exam score is 131 which is a 88 percentile. Is that bad?

I don't believe that score is bad. I've seen people with PAX scores in the 120s before as I comed through the forums on this website. Don't quote me but I do believe you should still give yourself a chance. You never know! Queensborough also conducts interviews to get to know you better as a applicant after selecting you. So they're not just solely based on grades and PAX score. In my opinion, I believe you should yourself a chance.

And yea they email everyone who got in at the same time. NU101 was hard but way easier than NU102. NU101 is fundamentals which is the basics of nursing and this is where you get down your physical assessment and medication administration. NU 102 is med surg which is a bulk of the NCLEX. It's a ton of information which carries over to 201. Each class is a mountain to climb but as long as you put in the hours and focus, you can do it. Many people fail/drop out in 102 and 201 due to the difficulty. But so far I've been getting As.

I am currently taking 102 at QCC and really struggling with this class? do you have any tips how to pass this class? 
I did pretty good last semester but I can not really figure it out yet what’s the right method to study for this class.

Hey Astanga , I applied for fall 2022 on the very first day and a lot of students are receiving their interview except for me. Were you a transfer student?
