PVT 75 questions??

Published

Took the NCLEX-RN exam today had 75 questions in about 3 hrs... got the "good pop up" which I think is the "our records indicate you are already scheduled for this exam etc." right? does this mean I passed?? I did the PVT about 45 minutes after my exam is that to soon?? I dont want to get my hopes up but I am so nervous!!

Will California post a pass on the results or do I have to wait until they send me my results in the mail? I took mine on the 16th and the results are saying not available. I did the PVT and got the pop-up but does that work for California. The computer shut off at 85 and most of my test was sata. I have 3 pharm and 3 dosage calculations. I feel like I completely bombed it. My instructor said that the PVT is not accurate and doesn't work anymore. Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

I'm having deja vu, LOL...didn't we just do this?

Forget what kinds of questions were on your test. It doesn't matter. Nor does it matter about SATA or anything else.

As already stated, California does NOT participate in Pearson Vue's Quick Results program; if you keep trying to get results via PV, it will ALWAYS say they are not available....because they AREN'T. They never will be available via PV's QR. Done.

When will you know with certainty? When you either see your name on the CA BoN website (check it daily, they update randomly). Or when you get a letter. Either could come first.

As for PVT (one mo' time....): if it has been MORE than 24 hours, AND you cannot register for another exam when you try submitting payment....you passed. If you CAN pay $200...or it declines your card if it has insufficient funds or is invalid....you failed. Simple as that. Your teacher does not understand what I have just told you, or she wouldn't say "it doesn't work anymore".
