I'm starting at Chamberlain soon for my RN to BSN, will I have any trouble getting my MSN somewhere else because this is an online school? As far as credits go and such. Thank you!

Chamberlain has both regional and national accreditation. You should be fine. If there is a specific school at which you are hoping to get your MSN, you could ask admissions directly. Another thought: could you do RN to MSN, if that is your goal, and skip the BSN?

Good luck!

Thank you! I would do my MSN there but I'm hoping to do midwifery and they don't have it there.

I know, I'm familiar with Chamberlain - I did my RN to BSN there. I meant why not go to a school that gets you to your ultimate goal of midwifery? Programs like Frontier do RN to MSN. Just a thought. :)

Yes I did just look that up but I think I want to stick with my BSN first then take some time off then pursue MSN. I can only do things is small amounts, I have a child with cancer so I never know when a hospital stay will happen or other things. I am now looking into Capella as they have less math - and I am horrible with math!

Understandable! The great thing about online programs is the flexibility they provide to students. Best of luck to your kiddo, and to you as well.
