PTEC LPN AUG 2010 MORNs @CLWR

Hi Everyone!

This questions is to those who are have graduate from PTEC LPN program. I am thinking of double majoring. I'm currently a student at USF majoring in Communication Science& disorders. I only have 1 1/2 year left to get my B.S. Just recently I've decided I want to go to LPN route at PTEC. My question to is, I want to continue to finish my B.S at usf, but also do the LPN program at the same time. Do you think it is do-able or am i setting myself up to fail? Please let me know..anything will be greatly appreciated. Please let me know how was your experience and how much effort you had to put into the program. Thank you!

Has anyone studied from the McGraw book for the teas test if so does anyone have any advice.

I would not suggest it although many of my classmates took courses at local colleges during our program to get their ADN pre-requisites finished. The diseases and disorders portion or the curriculum is a lot of info to absorb and back to back testing. The rest of the program is easier but still requires passing grades or your efforts will be for nothing as you will be removed from the program (as I watched several classmates be). The only time I felt more at ease was the last month of the program but then it was all about the ATI comprehensive tests and passing those to get a sit pass for NCLEX. Good luck whichever you choose to do.
