psychiatric RN employment

Hi,

I am doing some research and just wondering if anyone out there may have some input on Psychiatric RN positions in Texas.Specifically in or around the Austin area.

I have not applied for the license as yet because I am not keen on doing this unless I know there are positions available.

I am actually seeking a Travel RN positions in Psychiatry or Behavioral health or alcohol/substance abuse.But will apply for a FT position as well.

I would really appreciate any and all assistance in this.

I am currently working for a Medicaid waiver program in NY state.We are overseen by the Dept of Health of NY state but I am not certain if there is something similar in Texas.

Specifically in texas in the austin area you can see the jobs that are available at the austin state hospital. It is a state run mental health facility. you can look at the jobs and salary ranges available at DSHS in texas
