I am absolutely beside myself! I took the Mercy PSB on April 28. First, I am at ccac trying to finish with all the classes that are not nursing courses. I just finished this spring semester with a B in chemistry and a B in Algebra 2. I started out at ccac in the lowest math they have, ( I am a mom of 6 children and 40yrs old AND graduated in 1990) I was really rusty. But I know I am good in Math now! Here is where I cant understand my results... I got a 69 in verbal 88 in vocational but a 20 in Math, a 10 for God sakes in non verbal a 30 in reading and 42 in science!!!! These scores are not an accurate reflection of my intellect. I am certainly not an A student and I do have to work very very hard for a 3.0 but these scores? Really? I even thought the PSB was pretty easy that day. I really feel that it was scored incorrectly or I may have made mistakes when filling in my answer sheet. This just CANT be right! The other component to the test was the time limits. Could that be why I scored so poorly? I am going to request a copy of my test and answer sheet, and a review. The scores are just inconsistent, I mean my results pretty much say that I am a complete dumb ass that couldnt perform on an 8th grade level! Yet I passed the verbal....?? I would think if a true "dumb ass" took the test they would have a 20 in verbal as well! Im sorry to rant but I am so heartbroken that I cant get in anywhere now till next fall, I like ccac but I just want to get the ball rolling faster!

I don't know anything about this test, but did you use a study guide to study for it? For any standardized test, it would be hard to go in cold.

Maybe you filled in the wrong bubbles? I would call and ask about it... I am waiting for my results from mercy now. It really seems that you might have messed up folilling in circles
