Providence TIP program September 2019

Just writing about Providence SoCal September 2019 Transition into Practice program. Anyone heard anything yet?

Just to echo the above question but in a different location—For those that were interviewed by Providence in Santa Monica, how was the interview process? What were the questions asked during the panel interview? Any help would be much appreciated.

Beyond that, congrats to those who have received interviews and hang in there for those who are still waiting.

Hi! I interviewed last week on Thursday and they told me that they'd let us know this week. Still waiting to hear back...The interview wasn't too bad. They asked why I want to work at St John's specifically and why ICU? They asked about a mistake I've made and how I fixed it. Also they asked about a time that I had an issue with a coworker and how I handled it. They then explained the whole new grad process and all the types of cases they see. I interviewed with the nurse manager and clinical educator. Both very sweet and smart. Hoping to hear back soon!

Does anyone know if they are still calling people for interview? I put st Joseph at Burbank as my first choice but i’m guessing they are done with their interviews. I’m hoping to get an interview for my second choice which is tarzana):

Hi all! I had to call St John's about the ICU offer because it was taking longer than expected and I had another offer waiting for me that needed my response. They called me back within a couple of hours and offered me the position!! If anyone else will be in St John's ICU, let me know! Would love to connect ? Start date is sept 23rd

I believe Providence St. Joe in Burbank was only hiring for 1 med surg day shift, 2 tele day and night, and 1 for ED night. According to their HR REP.

I also applied to Tarzana but never heard back from them. I read on a Facebook they were only doing interviews the week of July 15th.

Has anyone heard back from St. John’s after the interview? I heard they’d be reaching out sometime this week.
