Hey guys! I'm starting this thread for Providence's RN Residency Program - September 2024 Cohort. Hopefully we can update each other on application processes, interviews, and job offers!

CONGRATS! ICU was my first choice, but I got offered my 2nd pick which is Neuro Telemetry also at St. Joseph's in Burbank ( which I'm still very happy about (-': )

Did you have ICU experience prior to applying?

Thank you, congrats to you too! I had close to 300 hours of ICU experience from clinicals/preceptorship

Wow! That's amazing!

All my clinical/preceptorship experience was in the ED, and the only ICU experience I have is working at that unit as a CNA )-':

didn't know this sub exists but I received an offer for torrance! good luck and congrats to those who got in their first choice unit 😄

nope 😕 They said we would hear as early as Thursday (yesterday) or latest by Monday.

Damn really? The HR lady there told me like a week and a half to 2 weeks

the nurse educator told me it was supposed to be this past Wednesday ! lmao I guess nobody knows what's going on 🤣

Oof! At this point I feel like I'm not gonna get an offer from any of these places☹️

 the nurse educator mentioned to us that they all would be staying this past Wednesday to make decisions and the latest we would know is this Monday so hopefully we hear back soon. Kinda nervous bc I heard they only had about 20 something positions
