Providence New Grad 2025 Interviews

Published

Hello! Has anyone who applied to Providence when applications opened up on June 6th heard back yet regarding setting up an interview? I was told the process is different from last year. They said they would reach out for setting up interviews starting June 12th.

they have some many scenario questions . they ask what are the intervention, what medication which u give, what labs are we looking out for? what would expect the doctor to order? use the sbar to call the doctor?

There were a lot of patient scenario questions. Maybe like 1 or 2 related to yourself. The rest of the questions were related to how you would act in a situation or how you would treat, labs, etc for a patient condition.

Good luck to us all. I am hoping we hear great news coming up in the next few days since interviews are concluding soon.

I interviewed at Tarzana today. I totally agree it felt like I was taking an exam. I did not expect that, it was very different from the last cohort.

I agree, and it made it a little harder because of that. I thought they were usually more behavioral but I guess they decided to change it. Today was the last day for interviews right?

Yes, today is the last day! I know, it was rough to say the least.

Anybody know how much they start new grad RN's at hourly for these residencies? is it $45?

Damm 45$ that's little for us

Thank you for the insight! Is it similar to NCLEX-style questions where you're given patient background (VS, PMHx, chief complaint, diagnostics, and labs) and then they ask how you would treat it? I'm trying to figure out how thorough of an answer they're looking for.

They let u know during the online interview and they have u choose 3 I cant remember all of them but there was ED, step down, float pool/med surg, L&D ....

I have an interview tomorrow? What was your interview like?

They have 6 questions mostly behavioral, one prioritization and they give u a few scenarios, lastly a case scenario. It's basic , they give u 5ish min to read over it and you have to let them know what you think is going on with the patient, what u will do next?, and what you would tell the Dr when u call. Kind of like SBAR.

That I know of they started the cohorts from last year at 48.50 maybe, but from the postings of this cohort I've seen this Pay Range: $52.14 - $53.21 however, not sure so don't quote me.
