Protocol Resource

Please email me at [email protected] with any resources that you find. I have been looking myself for several months and have not found anything. We are also a multi-specialty clinic with triage set up in our primary care providers office. Any help would be great!

The problem that I'm having now is that since we are a specialty clinic, most of the protocols that we have been able to find are waaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy too general for us, so we are basically having to write them from scratch - not that we actually have time to do that.....I resorted to help from our library - they are getting me a protocol book to use (though I'm not sure how helpful that will be...). I recently spent 4 months creating a triage book for pediatric urology. The resources I used was a telephone medicine triage book, a pediatric triage book, and an adult urology book. I combined some of the information from each one with my own knowledge to create the protocols. It was difficult and I think it is still too lengthy. My physicians are in the process or revising and reviewing it. Right now, I have an LVN and myself who triage based on our clinical knowledge and it seems to work well but we are subspecialized. I see where this could be very difficult for someone who works in a multidisciplinary practice.
