I work for a chain of nursing homes. I am currently the night shift supervisor and have been looking to a.) advance my position and b.) work a shift that isn't 11-7. My facility isn't hiring unit managers, but a sister facility just down the street is. I have an interview with them tomorrow. I did an online application, indicated that I'm a "internal" applicant, and let my HR department know when I applied for the position a little over a month ago. Obviously I shouldn't talk bad about my current facility, but any other specific "do's" or "don't"s?

Not that I know of. It's the same as a lateral position change. Good luck!
