Pros and Cons to GI Bill

I've applied to serve in the Commissioned Corps of the USPHS, but I'm weighing whether I want to sign a contract or not. ONe of the perks to serving is the 40K available via the GI Bill after three years. Can anyone weigh in on how easy it is to use these funds, etc.? THANKS!

Yup old gi bill is 10 year from discharge.. CHP 33 aka new gi bill is 15 years.
