Just wanna ask, how's the experience taking the exam? Is it hard? What materials do I need to review and what usual categories are ask in the exam? And after passing the exam, how long do I need to wait for my visa to be process? I do have an employer and interviewed as well.. thanks for your replies ?
Hi guys, hope this isn't too late for whomever is seeking any info regarding the prometric. I got hired for Sidra and they were the ones that sent me info on how and where to take my prometic exam. I had just finished writing my NCLEX (six months before to be exact) to practice in the US so some of that material was still in my head, so I though well, since I passed the NCLEX this should be easy. I usually take nothing for granted so I did a bit of studying for the prometric exam, nothing much but I did a bit of studying. When I got to my exam, it was NOTHING similar to the NCLEX. The only similarity was that they both were computer based multiple choice questions but that's where the similarities ended for me. My advise to anyone gonna take this exam is to NOT focus on one thing as some posters earlier said, study everything. Remember, these are computer generated questions and while someone's questions might have been pooled from meds, etc, yours will not necessarily be so. Most of my questions came from pre and post surgery and a few medical questions. I got about a couple questions about meds but that was it. So, please guys do your studying and cover ALL your bases, know your stuff, don't be taken by surprise.
