PROMETRIC EXAM - Qatar

Just wanna ask, how's the experience taking the exam? Is it hard? What materials do I need to review and what usual categories are ask in the exam? And after passing the exam, how long do I need to wait for my visa to be process? I do have an employer and interviewed as well.. thanks for your replies ?

they are asking 900$ for the exam.where did you register to take the exam/?

I think that there is a mistake with regards to prometric exam payments. Council of Qatar only requires a payment of $200 while Saudi Council only asked for $90. Go to prometric exam website for the complete details of all your concerns. Thank you!

It is much better if you could browse your notes, it’ll help you lessen the anxiety. But if you really trust your guts and stock knowledge, then I guess you will do fine in the exam. After all, prometric only test our basic competence and capacity to handle patients. thanks. ?

hi, im planning to take prometric exam. how come that prometric exam in saudi is same with qatar if the registration fee is different saudi 90$ / qatar 200$ .. just what i heard..

and if i took and passed the exam in saudi, can i use it in qatar?

and any tips or reviewer for the exam?

Hi.. I have the same problem and question too.. I already took the exam, but my agency told me to take prometric(the saudi version).. They said to me that its the same.. But I need to whats the truth..

'I think the only difference between the saudi and qtar prometric is the passing rate.here in qatar you should have at least 50% passing rate ..I t means you need to have 38 correct answers out of 75 questions.What i heard about saudi prometric and you need to have 40% passing rate.Im not accurate with that.

nope they are not there is a specific prometric qatar.. it will cost you 200$ compared to saudi prometrics which is only 92$...

I took the prometric qatar examination in APS-Makati last January 2011 and the following was included in my 70question. Crohns,ABG,Abdominal Paracentesis,Fleet enema, how to use crane, ICCD, appropriate IV site if the patient has a cast...also review the DM, HTN and COPD. The question is more on adult and pediatric MS. I never encountered any psych and maternal questions. theres a 2 or 3 question for pharmacology as i vividly rremembered.hope this will help to all of you guys.

i m 25yrs old indian registered nurse, presently working in saudi. i have saudi council registration, it will expire on 2013, now i would like to migrate to quter. do i need to clear quter prometric exam?
