PROJECT on c-sections

I am doing some research on c-sections...how much is the usual blood loss during a c-section? i know the h/h will probably be reduced, are the WBC's usually increased??? thanks

I generally see the docs writing down about an 800 cc EBL for an uncomplicated C-Section. Yes, their H&H will go down a few points, and yes their WBC will go up a bit, though not too much.

Hope that helps.

For ours, anywhere from 500-1000 ml is expected and the norm. 1000 ml is on the high end, and we do watch the H/H the next morning.
