I have been working as a CNA for the past 4+ years, starting in 2012. I made it one year at a nursing home (not sure how) and then was able to obtain additional education required by our state to work as a CNA at the hospital level. So far I have enjoyed this move but I want more in the medical field and I'm not getting any younger. CNA is often misunderstood and pretty much underpaid in terms of contribution to the team and patient outcomes; so this experience I believe has been very valuable to me, but I'm ready to move on and am looking for that "something".
