I am an RN in CA Licensed in 6 states with 15 years experience. After my RNFA I joined a heart team and was having a great time working hard and saving lives. I got stressed out drank too much and got busted in CA. I have been sober ever since but am currently battling the CA BRN for fair treatment of nurses in recovery. I'm apparently a much better nurse than activist... but hey I Never said that I "HAD" the wisdom to know the difference....lol I like to surf, mountain climb and have recently become a new member of LA's homeless population. This has opened my eyes to the way the world is for a lot of people in this country of ours. Regrets: I'm ashamed of how oblivious I was and how irresponsible of a citizen I have been. Both with my drinking but more so with my lack of civic involvement.

    Congrats, your sobriety and your experiences are two things you can never give to anyone else but can be lost so easily, but with care can be yours

    Keep coming back it works if you work it...... I hope so but I am having doubts. I have been sober 4 years after a dui in California landed me in hot water. Now I have lost my house and my dignity....
