About Azariia

Azariia has 42 years experience and specializes in Med-Surg, ER, ICU, Education, LTC.

I started this adventure before there was such a thing as a "CNA". As a nurses aide I passed meds on the 3-11 shift in a nursing home. Then came LPN school followed by an RN degree. I went on to receive a Masters in Health Care Administration. I have worked in an ER, ICU, Med-Surg ( to this day I will say that EVERY new nurse needs 1 year on a Med-Surg unit to learn how to be a nurse - skills wise), Director of Staff Education for a hospital, and have spent the most of my life in LTC. Playing World of Warcraft saved my sanity and online gaming in MMORPG's in general is where I find my inner calm. I get so absorbed in the game that I quickly forget about all the disasters that have filled my day at work.

    Great advice from everyone. Except for Pranqster. The days of eating our young has got to stop. Alimamethaa did say she was a new RN and in orientation. Nursing school does not teach students...
