About Nurse On Wheels

Nurse On Wheels has 11 years experience and specializes in Paediatrics, cardiology, education.

I qualified as a paediatric nurse in 2004, and have spent the majority of my career working in paediatric cardiology and cardiac surgery. In 2010 I suffered a spinal cord injury which has left me an incomplete paraplegic and a permanent wheelchair user. I returned to work in 2011 as a clinical skills facilitator, and am now back in Cardiac Services in an educational role. I am hoping that joining AllNurses will enable me to link up with other nurses working in wheelchairs around the world.
