Honeyforshort specializes in Emergency Department.

I have been a RN for 26 years , I have mostly worked in the Emergency Department , but also have ICU as well as medical floor experience. I have loved my Nursing career but have found in the last 6 years I have been considered "OLD" and have experienced a different mind set in nursing that I have never thought could be possible . The last few years have been hard but reading Allnurses topics uplift me and realize I am not alone . So , I decided to join . I used to be a confidant nurse ( but not overly so) finding myself on committees to improve patient care and loved precepting new nurses. But as jobs change Nursing changes I am facing many challenges . So , I see Allnurses as a way to learn and grow as a Nurse.
