   Im an EMT and I got accepted for the summer but I work on an ambulance, id suggest you ask your supervisor if in the letter they'd write you are an EMT and not an ER tech.

   If you can buy a stethoscope in person it would be better, I work in an ambulance and we don't have the best stethoscope but I can hear clearly with sirens on and all. So if you can test it yourself...
