    I think you should check your facilities policy on the matter. Every place is different. I personally have used both AB and ATB (and I've even seen some people use ABX)

    Ditto. We consider it a valuable piece of information not to be left out if the patient happens to be a redhead. Never heard of the anesthesia thing though.
