The story behind my ID. I Love quotes because besides God, they give me energy, hope, and strength b/c they are advice from someone else trying to make it on how on how to make it... so this quote…
"During my second year of nursing school our professor gave us a quiz. I breezed through the questions until I read the last one: "What is the first name of the woman who cleans the school?" Surely this was a joke. I had seen the cleaning woman several times, but how would I know her name? I handed in my paper, leaving the last question blank. Before the class ended, one student asked if the last question would count toward our grade. "Absolutely," the professor said. "In your careers, you will meet many people. All are significant. They deserve your attention and care, even if all you do is smile and say hello." I've never forgotten that lesson. I also learned her name was Dorothy. ~Joann C. Jones"
…Extremely reinforced a mandate my Grandma always had on her grandchildren. And although I followed I did not fully understand the importance of it. After reading this quote I realized fully why my Grandma made this ‘know a person’s name and always say hello’ mandate. (My Grandma is amazing like that)!!
About me… I am calm, happy person, I am always smiling. I loving learning but not the extreme grading that goes along with it... I do however understand why it is needed... as for my education I have just finished my second yr of Nursing school going into my third (med surge, psych, research in the fall, and med surge II, nursing ethics, maternity in the spring) please if you have any advice or recommendations as to helpful materials, habits, or study suggestions Please feel free to pass them along to me! I am saying thank you in advance for anything you share! If you want to know anything else, msg me or leave a comment for me and I will be sure to get back to you!
Always
Smiling!
