Can you do the meds together? Like the 8's and 9's meds at one time, the 12's and 1's or the 1's and 2's at one time? We have 1hr and 59 mins to get out meds done. I'm still sometimes late, especially if something happens!

OMG guys, I only have 6 weeks of school left!!! I can't fricken wait, I'm SO over school!

It was only a few points, so it didn't drop my grade much. I learned after that to make sure everything is submitted on the same paper! And stats. Stats, stats, stats. Killed me! I managed a B in the class, but I worked my butt off for that dang B!

I goofed on the submitting more than one thing as well. I emailed the teacher and she reassigned it but it was all late. She'd said since the first one was turned in on time she wouldn't deduct any points. She did anyways!

Thanks for the replies. I did go ahead and hold that med. In looking back through his previous BPs he was more in the 130s/60-70s. His BPs after (he was Q4) had gone up, like 120/50-60s. I let the day shift nurse know as well. Also called the hospita...

Ok, this seems to be the one part that confuses me. If the dr doesn't write parameters on BP meds, when do we know to hold them? Like I had a pt taking 2 BP meds, her BP was 120's over 40's and I was going to hold them, but my charge nurse said no, g...

My group did the same thing! I told them 300 words max and I would edit. Yeah, ok, everyone wrote like 600-700 words! Ugh, that was a pain to edit!

I finally got past the first step!!! I had interviewed for a position on the med surge floor at Gateway medical, the nurse manager remember my resume from an oncology position I applied for. She sounded very positive and seemed to genuinely like me, ...

I work best under pressure! In my last semester in my ADN we had to do a case study. It was intense too. I did it in about 8 hours. 27 pages. Got an A!

I just might! I have been known to start a paper at 6PM on a Sunday and still get an A on it...

Most likely, no. I had done patho at my CC prior to starting GCU and didn't have to take another class. So my 11 classes are taking me roughly 13 months to complete, and that is only with the 2 week break at Christmas time, no breaks between classes.

Sorry, just now seeing this! Are you a new grad? It's so hard for new grads anywhere here! There's always tons of jobs listed, but everyone wants experience!

Noodle, I usually use citation machine as well, and this last teacher marked all over my reference pages! Ugh!

Ha, noodles, sounds like me! I knew I'd never do well doubling because I am a procrastinator!

You can double them. I was told after you finish your 4th class, don't know if that's changed or not.
