I'd stay far away from nursing. Having access to drugs for you is like an alcoholic working at a bar. "You know you are done with drugs" but you thought that before. Keep going to NA and good luck staying clean.

I put in time at a LTC job I didn't care for and an adult med surg job that was ok but not what I really wanted to do. Finally have enough seniority to start my job in peds. Started last week!! Sometimes it takes a while but youll get there.

That's happening where I work now except we're union so they have to give jobs to as many people as they can and offer a generous package to the people laid off. It also ends up being the newer people who get laid off.

They aren't psychotic. They have no feelings of guilt. They study "normal" people when growing up and learn how to act. They are great at blending in. Otherwise people wouldn't trust them and they couldn't take advantage of their victims.
