About megannicky

I grew up on the West Coast and decided to move to Georgia for my bachelors degree which I obtained in '98. I worked in restaurant management for serveral years but always contemplated going into helathcare. I decided to go back to school and get my degree in nursing after my father became critically ill with a brain tumor. I graduated in 2011 and have a strong desire to enter the field as a NICU nurse with the goal of becoming a NNP. I love nursing and helping people and know that this is the best decision that I have ever made. I'm looking forward to my new career.

    Pediatric would be the best because it is the most similar to what you want which is NICU. Adults are very different and a big part of Pediatric and NICU nursing is working with the family/caregiver....
