I grew up on the West Coast and decided to move to Georgia for my bachelors degree which I obtained in '98. I worked in restaurant management for serveral years but always contemplated going into helathcare. I decided to go back to school and get my degree in nursing after my father became critically ill with a brain tumor. I graduated in 2011 and have a strong desire to enter the field as a NICU nurse with the goal of becoming a NNP. I love nursing and helping people and know that this is the best decision that I have ever made. I'm looking forward to my new career.
