I started in healthcare as a CNA (hospital float, nursing home) for 3 years. Worked during school as a phlebotomist at a busy walk in public health clinic as well. LPN for 2 years. RN for 8 years now. Experience in LTAC, regional float pool for large hospital system in the Denver metro area, and now I work in the in hospital float pool at a level one trauma center where I float to any unit within the hospital but most often med-surge, neuro, ortho, trauma and cardiac.
