I had pk3 in june & no we did not need the police check. Just take police check with you to embassy.

Thanks for that it helps to know. An agency also sent mine, my agent keeps me informed of all corrispondence as it happens, so I don't feel left out of the process:kiss I just hope they continue to be as helpful & supportive when I'm there.
