Don't worry, you are not the only one. I posted a similar thread in the Chemistry sticky... Although I studied a decent amount for my quizzes, I didn't study nearly enough for my first Biochem test...
Don't be embarrassed -- I've never lit a match (never needed to) and luckily the Bunsen burners we use have strikers instead of matches, which are a lot easier to use and keep your hand further away...
