HI! I am currently a freshman at grand canyon university as a pre-nursing major. After going to some of the majors meetings, I have learned somethings and am now concerned that I have picked the wrong school. The number of students in the pre-nursing major is insane! and they only select so many people into their nursing school however the school doesn't release those numbers, so I really don't know my chances of getting in. After looking at the NCLEX test rates for the state of Arizona it has also came to my attention that gcu has the lowest score for the past three years. I was also looking on the schools nursing website and found that there are no number available stating the number of graduates who got jobs after graduation, as well as this statement;
"Students graduating on time
N/A* of Title IV students complete the program within 48 months
*Fewer than 10 students enrolled in this program. This number has been withheld to preserve the confidentiality of the students."
So if there are any past or current gcu nursing students who can give me a little more insight about the program please help me out. At this point I am really feeling as if I made a mistake coming to this school.
