   They do a credit check on everyone. It’s Federal funds, so they want to make sure you haven’t defaulted on any federal loans or anything similar.

   I'm worried to death because I got behind on my mortgage a few years ago during my divorce. It's all good now and has been paid on time for two years now. I'm stressed!

   I am sure they do multiple rounds. Especially since some people may drop out or more funds may become available. I'm so excited, I hope it all works out for us!

   I too have received an email stating that I am a finalist. I had a GPA of 3.79, and several years experience in dialysis as a tech. I am entering into a BSN program.
