After 14 years in the field of Orthotics and Prosthetics (O&P), I had an opportunity to go back to school and get a nursing degree. Over the last two years I got all the gen-ed, science, and support classes are done...so this august when I start nursing school I will only have to focus on nursing, and nothing else. I was and still am passionate about O&P, I really loved that job...but it's such a niech credential that when things go sideways you likely won't find a new gig close to home, so when you work in O&P it's very common for you and or your peers to move all over the country. I was simply tired of that part of the game.
