In the fall I will be starting to take my chem and biol pre-reqs. I will be taking the classes at the NW campus. Can anyone recommend good professors to take. I am not wanting any nazi professors. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

You might want to check out the site RateMyProfessor.com. I have found it to be very accurate and helpful.
Also, you may want to post in the state forum (Texas?) in order to get better responses.
Thanks I will try that.

I will take any info. I am based out of south campus normally. I was thinking about NW campus because great grandma who will be watching the 2 year old lives in Lake Worth. But that is only a temporary situation.
my favorite micro teacher is on the ne campus and that is matthi. you can do a search on here and find others that love him as well. lets see i have straton for chem (south campus) ..highly recommend. i had foote on the ne campus for a&p 1 and 2 online. he is very good, well respected and very funny too. whatever you do don't take johnson for micro...she is a vet and will have you learning about rabies before you learn anything about micro. barton is good for micro (south campus).. if i think of anymore ill post them. definitely go to rate my professor.com i have several post on there and a big one on johnson.

I'm not sure how you feel about driving to the SE campus in Arlington, but I had really good professors for all of my pre-req sciences at this campus.
Micro-Carrington, She's awesome! I had her for both lab and lecture which was very helpful.
A&P 1&2-Shadi, I loved her! In A&P 1 I failed my first test but ended the semester with an A and then I took again for A&P 2 and I ended the semester with an A, she gives good notes and test directly from them.
Chem-Chasteen, I took an evening class for this because I work fulltime but he was really good, he makes a subject that can be completely hard to understand easy to understand, because I took this class at UTA and didn't do well and then I took him and I received a B in the class.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for all the information. It really helps.

I have not taken any classes at the NW campus, but I highly recommend the professors I have taken at the NE campus and the SE campus.
Microbiology - Matthai at the NE campus. He is awesome! He is very
fair, grades things quickly, and gives opportunities for
extra credit.
Chemistry - Patrick at the NE campus. Definitely the one to take for
Chemistry. She gives great notes and tests directly from
the notes. She is very organized and explains things clearly.
A&P I and II - Vu at the SE campus. He is VERY hard, but you really learn
a lot. If you are looking for easy, he is not the one to take,
but if you want to learn as much as possible from your A&P
class, take him.
Good luck with your classes!
