Professional Skills Institute (Getting in The Background Ckeck)

I will be starting school at PSI this monday for LPN. But I almost didn't make it because of the background check. In order to get in you must complete a background check through the state of Ohio. After you have taking your teas test and passed it go right down the street to fastfingerprints. It is inside of Hondros College and they take walk -in. The reason for going right after you take your test is because the state of Ohio are not mailing them out when they say they have.

This is what happen to me the State of Ohio said they recieved my information on the 27 of August and my check was mailed on the 13 of Sept. The school did not recieve it so PSI requested it be send again. The State of Ohio has now mailed my background check twice so we think. At this point it the 21 of Sept and classes start October 1.

So now I'm mad as hell at the point because classes are startimg on the first of the month. Ohio said we mailed it on the 13, and 18 of Sept. We all know that it only takes with in a state 2 to 3 days for mail to get to where it needs to be. Not 10 days they could not tell me what was going on. So finally on Sept. 25 the school calls me and tells it they finally got my background check. So it 12 days for my info to reach the school. But here is the best part we requested two copies and they were three days apart. Why did both of them come together. So that tells me yes someone put it out to go in the mail but it did not go when they said it would. So to avoid so B/S please go and get the check done soon as possible so it doesn't end up one week before school.
