72.7% or 94% probability on VATI. How true r their calculations? Did you test by it?

Published

Hey guys!

Just me again. I just finished my VATI this morning, and I scored a 72.7% on the final predictor test. During the test, I got tired easily (150 questions..Lord, help me on NCLEX day!). Well, I had serious trouble with 3 questions..which I just had to look up (*embarrased face*). ATI does not give rationales which sucks a lot! But what are your experiences with this? Did it work for you?

Hi! I took the VATI predictor the day before my NCLEX and I had a 94% probability to pass NCLEX as well. I passed the NCLEX with 75 questions and in about an hour.

Hey there!!!!

Yay! I'm so glad to hear that!!!! So they are kinda on the money with their probabilities! So did you review the "below 64%" topics? How did you "study" the last 2 days?

I'm just tired! I can't even study anymore..but when I do practice questions..I still get some questions wrong! I'm confused, tired and just want NCLEX over with already!!!!!!

To be honest I took the predictor the day before and took an extra Med Surg exam and then didn't do anything after that not even review. Actually the entire weekend before I didn't do much because I was away on a trip. Relaxing beforehand did help.

Ha! I don't know what I'm doing really...I keep doing practice questions and getting things wrong..and this is making me so very nervous!!! I plan to read AN study guide the night before I test and the early morning before I leave my house.

I'm also using NCBSN review, and I'm doing their test banks questions..still got one more to go.

But thanks for your input :)

I think the predictor is accurate. I got a 74% and passed w/ 75 questions as well. But I took the predictor back in May and the NCLEX in July. I did a few ATI tests between then to practice questions, but really the last few days before the exam it is best to just relax and de-stress in my opinion.

Thanks for your input!

I'm half relaxing, half doing questions, and half reviewing AN study guide :)
