What is the best way to become a private nurse? Should I go thru the process of getting licensed to be able to accept medicare or medicaid patient?

Yes, that is what you would have to do. Or, I suppose your client

would have to pay you in cash, which could get awfully expensive I

would think.

If you want to be a private duty nurse, I would think it would be

easier to go through an agency.
