Hi everyone, hope all of you are having a wonderful start of a new year. I did try searching for an answer but couldn't find a concrete answer. Therefore I have decided to make a new thread. Can you recommend me some places that offer a lvn to rn program in the bay area & central valley, basically anything outside of L.A. (sac, stockton, yuba city, merced, all of that is fine). I live in the Bay Area (fremont) and the only private school here that offers a lvn-rn (to my understanding) is unitek but it has a bad reputation so I do not want to go there. I could be wrong though. My gpa is 4.0 if it matters.
Thanks and have a great day!
:)

There is lots of mention of the ISU program on this site. Look into that. But be aware that you can complete it without signing any expensive contracts with The College Network.

San Joaquin Valley College is a private trade school that offers an LVN-to-RN bridge program. The school is located in Visalia, which is in the Central Valley.

San Joaquin Valley college is also in Modesto. I believe University of Phoenix also has an LVN to BSN or RN I'm not entirely sure. I don't recommend Unitek UNLESS you are a self-starter, want to get done AS FAST as possible and spend ton of money. :)
I will look into that. My only other plan would be to apply for direct entry into a BSN program (sjsu or smu), which I'll look into. Thanks for the information everyone!
