Prioritizing questions? How to answer?

Nursing Students NCLEX

Any words of wisdom for prioritizing questions used on the NCLEX? I take my boards on September 1 :uhoh3: and have been studying Lippencott and Saunders Cd's. They didn't seem to have very many questions covering that kind of material. Is there a certain strategy I can use to help answer the questions correctly? Any kind of help will be appreciated.

Thanks for responding to my post. The information provided has been very helpful.:thankya: I'm trying to use the Kaplan strategies but sometimes I feel like I'm having a harder time memorizing the strategies than answering the questions.Go figure! By the way, I decided to reschedule my test for August 22. :selfbonk: What was I thinking? I guess I just want to get it over with. Everyone I know from my graduating class that has taken it has passed. Any way thanks again everyone.

It has been about 7 years since I took the NCLEX but another tip they gave us in our NCLEX prep class was to always choose the answer that allows the pt the greatest degree of autonomy. In other words the preferred course of action is the one that gives the pt the most decision making power and the greatest degree of independent participation in his/her own care.
