Hello,
I am wondering if anyone who has applied to the UPenn-Princeton Medical Center Nurse Residency November 2020 start has heard back from a recruiter/HR yet?

I applied mid-September and haven’t heard anything.
I got an email today from them asking me to complete an assessment, and my application switched to considering. Fingers crossed!
I got the same thing, so hopefully!!

Hi! Did either of you end up getting further along in the interview process/receive an offer?
Yes, after getting contacted, you have to do video interviews, then I did a video interview with about 6 people. Then they offer you a position if they see you fit. The only downside is the pay which is $27 to start for minimum 18 months.
thank you so much! I understand that you also preference units, in your experience were you placed in what your top choice was?
No they didn’t have many options open, medsurg tele and oncology. they weren’t super open about transitioning through units if you weren’t “happy” either.
oh wow okay, the recruiter mentioned that if placed in medsurg you float through the units which I thought was appealing, but mentioned that there's only a spot or two in women's health
Yeah, it’s a great hospital but the pay is crazy. I went to a smaller system instead and am getting almost $10 more an hour on a unit I wanted
that’s great!! I know I was surprised that the pay is so low, not sure if it changed now but HR mentioned that it jumps to about $10 more after your first 12 months, which is an upside. do you remember if your video interview with the nurse managers was difficult?
