Prerequisite ( I need help)

Hi,

I'm new to this website, but I found it really HELPFUL:) Currently I am attending a community college and I have switched my major to nursing.. at first I was a biology major but, I switched my mind and realize it wasn't who I wanted to be. However, the sad part of switching my major is that I feel like I'm behind. during my first semester I crammed in 19 units and then 21 units the following semester..... so my second year was the year I wanted to transfer, but Idk if I would be eligible to apply to a nursing school? (CSU for fall 2015) because during my spring 2015 semester I will have MICRO and COMM 01 in progress..... I have maintained a overall GPA of a 3.7. But I have only taken two nursing prerequisite. This upcoming summer I am going to take stats, and then my fall semester of 2014 im planning to take 21 units (including majority of the prerequisite classes). I checked on most CSU websites the im allowed to have one science course in progress and one non science course in progress but I just wanted to know if anyone has been through this and has been accepted or has not been accepted to the BSN program with courses in progress. I figured I rather find out before I cram in all of those units because it would probably be better for me to take another year and apply to the BSN program.... Oh yea I'm aiming for a 3.85 (overall GPA) and 3.9 (nursing prerequisite GPA)... DO you think with those GPA I would have a good chance to get into a program? I know every year the program gets more competitive.. I would love to hear the advice and rankings from students who got accepted to the nursing program for the fall of 2014! Thanks:)
