Hello,
I have a face to face interview for a faculty position and I am required to present a teaching demo for the hiring committee.
Any tips on how to go about this will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance!

My suggestion would be to prepare something that you know a lot of information about, e.g. the area that you are currently working. Prepare a handout to give to students and provide references of your presentation. If possible, I would ask the amount of time that you will have and what level the learners will be, to be able to provide content at their level. i would also look at the textbook that the students are using so that you are familiar with what they need to know. If it is just a small presentation and not for students, go with what you know. I hope that is helpful.
