My second semester is now fast approaching and I'm a little apprehensive to be honest. Since I now know how demanding and stressful it can all be, I'm really trying to enjoy these last days of peace left. It feels sooo good to not have to worry about anything, but it'll all change here shortly once again. I'm not ready to give up my peace of mind and face the stress of assignments, care plans, studying, tests, etc!!!! Are ya'll feeling the same way? I'm hoping I'm not the only one. What are you doing to prepare your mind, body and spirit? I started reading the advised material and I'm gonna work out a bunch of pharm calcs but other than that I'm counting down my days left (11) and enjoying my extra sleep without the 4:15am alarm clock buzzing in my ear after having maybe 4 hours of sleep some nights! Ahhhhh, to be a nursing student...it's a love/hate kind of thing!

I'm feeling your pain!! I started my 2nd semester today!! I've had my stomach in KNOTS for about a week now because not only am I taking Med Surg I and OB, I am also required to take Microbiology as a co-req to Med Surg. It's a nightmare!! AND I start clinicals at 6:30am tomorrow. Last semester they gave us about a month in skills lab before we started clinical but we aren't playing any games this semester..it's right down to business!!
GOOD LUCK!!! Just know that we are all right there with ya! You aren't alone!!
