thanks for the words of encouragement. Right now I just feel the lowest of the low. This is how I felt the 1st time I failed it. When I took it for the 2nd time I just knew I had passed it. I don't know what I keep doing wrong. I just really didn't study for it the 2nd time. I need to study way more this time and hopefully I will pass!

Hello glamorous10aya,

I wanted to lift your spirits somehow, so I will tell you the truth. I took the test multiple times, more than you think. Don't ask how many times, but never give up. I know how you feel.

There is a technique that a nurse in my town hospital gave me. I wanted to give it to you, it might work.

I printed this about 12 times and posted it all around the house.

1. Relax.

2. Count 1 to 10 and breathe.

3. DRINK WATER! DRINK WATER! DRINK WATER!

4. Stretch 3 times a day. (neck, shoulders, arm, waist, and leg for good circulation)

5. Go for a walk 2 times a week.

6. I will balance my life as much as possible.

7. STUDY! STUDY! STUDY!

8. I am going to PASS the NCLEX!

9. I will PASS my board Exam.

10. I WILL PASS THE NCLEX RN.

11. I PASSED THE NCLEX RN BOARD EXAM!

(take note each poster I made had my name with the letters R.N. at the end) **I wrote my real name on my posters**

I posted this in front of the toilet bowl, behind the front door, behind the bathroom door, infront of the threadmill, by my closet, by the kitchen, by the computer, all over the house and I also brought one with me where ever I go.

Believe me I have all the other RN books saunders, kaplan, davis, Incredibly made easy, you name it I have it but they are too wordy, too heavy, and time consuming. I find them just collecting dust in the book shelf.

I used EXAM CRAM NCLEX RN and took it with me all the time. At work on my break time, at my moms house, friends house, at the park, & at the beach. A very handy book, small and very easy to understand (I'm a foreigner). I didn't want heavy and wordy books. The Exam Cram worked great for me.

I took the computer adaptive test that the book came with (3 times a week about 2 hours each session), and wrote down in my 79cent MEAD journal notebook information that I got wrong. Boy did I fill that notebook. In this way I was able to take notes & focus studying more on my weaknesses. For me it was all in all an awesome technique. The brainwashing posters all over the house, the mini study book (Exam Cram NCLEX RN), the CAT cd it came with, oh and LOT'S & LOT'S of PRAYERS.

Somebody else gave me this technique. It wasn't mine, but somehow it worked for my friend and for me as well. Try it, you never know, it might work for you to.

Good luck!

Faith! Hope! Prayers! (it works wonders)
