kaplan is the way to go. it's worth investing in it, in my opinion..... the book is very good - it explain strategies to use, but the good practice q's you can only get online.....

I remember they offered online couse for like 400$ which would be fully refunded if you fail... something like that... I looked at their site, didn't find anything like that. Am I hallucinating or do they really offer a program like that?

NCLEX-RN® Guarantee and Free Repeat Policy

If you are a graduate of an NLN or CCNE-accredited nursing program taking the exam for the first time within 6 months of graduation and do not pass the NCLEX-RN® exam after taking the Kaplan Diagnostic Exam in class or in the Kaplan Center and attending all class sessions of the Kaplan classroom course, or studying in the Kaplan Training Library for a minimum of 30 hours, you are entitled to your choice of either a 100% tuition refund or a free 3-month continuation of your classroom enrollment. Kaplan is full of BS! I took the course and failed boards. They DIDN'T refund my money. They are liars!!!

Oh, I don't meet the requirements... :( But thanks a lot for taking your time to look it up and post it here! :)

nuieve - you're welcome... it only took a minute (i knew where to find it quick).

glamorous10aya..... sorry for your results.. and i understand you feel down right now... but that's what helped me personally, so that's what i recommend to others... you can and you should definitely try other ways to review if kaplan didn't help, don't give up - GOOD LUCK!

well I am glad that it helped you. I just took my test for the 2nd time and found out this morning that I didn't pass. I just feel like giving up. What's the point?:o

as i said... i'm sorry for your results and it's totally understandable that you feel angry and discouraged right now.. i would too. maybe nothing of what i have to say will make you feel better right now..... but what i know for sure is that it's not worth it giving up. you worked HARD to finish school and this test is the last step you have to take... i know you failed 2 times, but you should keep trying! there's someone on this site that passed the 5th time! so now that person has a license like many of us here and who cares how many times it took to test to get it? it doesn't say it on the card and no nursing director will ask that in an interview.... so please keep trying because you will ultimately be happy you did! look at what your weak areas are and focus on them even more than before.. take a few days off and then start doing questions again like you haven't tested the 2nd time yet. i really hope you keep going and i wish you best of luck!
