Preparing For The Teas

Hi

I just happened to find this site today and I'm gad I did. There's so many great discussions and information. My question and desperate need is to ask anyone who took and passed the TEAS exam for their opinion and advise on how to be well prepared for it. Ikeep hearing how incredibly hard it is.

Thank you :wink2:

Rayele, go up to the right top of the page and enter "Teas" into the search bar and search Allnurses. You will come up with tons of great posts and information. I read every single post and it really helped. I found most of what people said to be true in my case.

Also, the ATI study guide is pretty representative of the actual test, though maybe even a bit harder. Get that, and then just practice, practice, practice. The test is really basic in most areas but the science. Just study, be fast on your math and you will do great. Good luck!

I took the TEAS test. I purchased the study guide from their website and spent about two weeks going through the book in the evening hours and took all of the practice tests. I did surprisingly well. I ended up deciding not to go to that school and took the NET test at a different school which was much different - just critical reading and algebra.

The TEAS test that I took had reading comprehension, science (more general science than A&P), and algebra. There were very few questions related to chemistry. I found the study guide to be very helpful.

Good Luck!!!!
